Technically, this is not a national monument. However, it would be misplaced to count this place as a museum, because of it’s history. As Anne Frank and her family where German/Dutch citizens, we do count their safe house as a National Monument, where we commemorate their lives, and of all of those who have perished in the concentration camps. You can obviously visit it, but please, proceed to do it with respect to it’s history.
